Matt Zane - Art Imitates Life

Origins

Introducing our premier Artist and Co-Founder Matt Zane, Hailing from Szeged (Hungary) the city of sunshine. His infectious beats certainly mirror vibrant summer nightlife scenes. Now creating from a Swiss town near the scenic Lake Constance.
The name itself doesn’t hold a particular meaning, it sounds great as well as resembling his real first name, Máté.
His journey as an artist started in 2017 and although he has only performed a live DJ set at small parties, his propensity to entertain is resounding.

Style, Collabs, Remixes and everything in between

Starting out initially by creating hip-hop and trap beats, he is now most comfortable in the realm of Deep House and Slap House for his original creations like No Diggity, with a larger repertoire of genres represented in his producer and remixing works such as his remix of ROLLIN’ by DESH or Bizalom by Camille which he produced representing Hungarian rap music and pop/punk respectively.
He has had the pleasure of collaborating with and producing for many artists, including with Pandia artists Val and Octopurity as well as DJs like Kanette or Deny.
His creations have always had a strong connection to his personal life, his style constantly evolving with his personality and daily moods. He has channeled his life’s highs and lows into the music he’s made and aims to let the listener find a reflection of their own emotions in his art, which is what makes him a special artist.

Change as a constant

He has changed his alias several times during his career to better represent him as an artist, ultimately settling on the current moniker. These changes also appear in the visuals for his tracks which are even now created by him personally. One of the defining moments of his career was his remix of Rampampam by Minelli at the peak of its popularity, which earned over 1 000 000 streams on YouTube before unfortunately being copyright striked. Luckily another remix has peaked over 1m streams since.
While he hasn’t found consistent large scale success yet, his focus on continuous improvement of his craft definitely shows in the quality of his productions and is sure to lead to great things.

The Era of Pandia

He has encountered many challenges coming up in the music business as an indie artist, inspiring him to co-found Pandia Management to help solve these issues for up and coming musicians. Although still small, the organisation has been progressing in order to help its musicians accomplish their goals. Following a similar philosophy of constant improvement and a focus on quality in a world of excess sets both him and the organisation apart providing an example of a contrarian concept. He has given a platform and guidance to talented musicians, channelling his passion for the art in order to better it.
